'Pequan Helen Lawrence Loving mother and wife Helen B. Lawrence of Massapequa died Dec. 21, 2007. She was 79 years old and loved to garden. Born in Baldwin, she lived in Seaford for many years before settling in Massapequa and raising her family. She lived on Massachusetts Avenue for 52 years and Frederick, for about ten years she worked for a factory in Farmingdale that made electrical switches. Mrs. Lawrence leaves behind her husband Frederick of 58 years; her children: Sandra L. of Springfield, Virginia and Frederick H. and his wife Barbara of West Islip; her grandsons: Kyle and Douglas; and her brother, Henry Bergmann of Sound Beach. Cremation was private. Donations in Mrs. Lawrence's name can be sent to the charity of your choice.
