McKenna Elementary holds PARP kickoff

On Sep. 28 the PARP Kickoff assembly was held at McKenna Elementary School, Massapequa Park, with the slogan,
Fall Into Reading. PARP is a PTA program, which stands for Parents as Reading Partners. The idea is to get children and parents to read together every day for a competition between four teams to see which group reads the most. The PARP program will end at the McKenna Halloween Party.
