Massapequa student earns perfect SAT, ACT Score

The Massapequa Public School District would like to congratulate Senior Alec Slatky for achieving a perfect score on ACT exam. Slatky is one of only four college-bound students in New York, and 85 in the nation to achieve a 36, the highest possible composite score on the April 2007 national test administration. Approximately 7,000 students in New York and 446,000 in the United States take the ACT as part of the college admissions process. According to Richard L. Ferguson, ACT chief executive officer, Slatky's perfect score "will offer him a choice of the widest possible range of future educational options." Slatky also scored a perfect 2400 on the May 2007 SAT exam.
