      Retired Nassau County Detective and longtime Massapequa Park resident, Roger P. Gentile died in Holtsville after a long-term illness on December 28, 2007. He was 54 years old. Born in Queens, he lived on Broadway in Massapequa Park for 25 years until he moved to Holtsville in 2001.
