Town Clerk Labriola welcomes Valentine's Day Weddings

Oyster Bay Town Clerk Steven L. Labriola invites couples who would like to be married on Valentine's Day to contact his office to arrange for a civil ceremony.

"What could be a more romantic way to celebrate the most romantic day of the year then by getting married?" Labriola asked. "To help celebrate this treasured occasion, chocolate-covered strawberries will be offered and a red rose will be presented to each bride."

Over the past four years, Labriola has performed more than 327 weddings. "One of the more enjoyable functions of being Town Clerk is performing marriage ceremonies," Labriola said. "It is such a privilege to be a part of one of the most important events in a couples' life. Every wedding is special, and I do my best to make them meaningful and memorable for the bride and groom."

Marriages will be performed at Town Hall North, 54 Audrey Avenue, Oyster Bay.
