March 3, 2 to 4 p.m. This twohour, hands-on class introduces new computer users to working with text. Learn how to create, edit, save and open documents in word processing. The class costs $20. •A portrait workshop for young adults in sixth grade and up will be offered Tues., Feb. 19, 2 to 3:30 p.m. The cost is $4 and includes drawing and colored pencils, kneaded erasers and paper.
