MADD meets Feb. 26

The Long Island Affiliate of MADD will hold its next support group meeting Tues., Feb. 26, beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the MADD~Long Island offices located at 33 Walt Whitman Road, Suite LL7, Huntington Station.

The support sessions are facilitated by MADD Long Island's Vice President and Advanced Victim Advocate Margaret Rebholz. Victims and survivors of a drunk driving crash, as well as their family members and friends, are encouraged to attend.

MADD Long Island (Nassau and Suffolk Counties) was founded in 1982 by Celia and Marvin Strow. Today, MADD~ Long Island, founded in grief and sustained in hope, continues its endeavors in the fight to eliminate drunk driving through education initiatives, public awareness raising programs and events, free support and victim advocacy services, victim impact panels, advocating for anti-DWI legislation and working in collaboration with Nassau and Suffolk law enforcement, judicial and probation agencies.

Support group meetings are held on the last Tuesday of each month. Refreshments are served.
