TOBAY hearing scheduled March 11
Proposed contracts for fire protection for calendar year 2008 will be the subjects of Tues., March 11, public hearing by the Oyster Bay Town Board, according to Town Councilman Angelo A. Delligatti. Contracts with the following districts will be considered: Bayville Fire Company No. 1, East Norwich Volunteer Fire Company No. 1, Farmingdale Fire Company, Glenwood Hook & Ladder Engine and Hose Company No. 1, Oyster Bay Fire Company No. 1 and Atlantic Steamer Company No. 1, and the Plainview Volunteer Fire Company, Inc., as well as the Wantagh Fire District, which covers Tobay Beach.
The hearings will be held in the Hearing Room of Town Hall North, 54 Audrey Ave., Oyster Bay, beginning at 10 a.m. Following the regular Town business, the Town Board will be available to listen to public comment on any subject.
