Farmingdale Hawks win Super Bowl Championship

The 11-year-old Farmingdale Hawks football team are shown raising their super Bowl trophy after defeating the Massapequa Mustangs 27-12 at John Burns Park, Massapequa. This is the second consecutive year the Hawks have defeated the Mustangs for the title. The following week the Hawks traveled to Fallston, Maryland where they defeated the Fallston Cougars 24- 0 in the Ambassador Bowl. The Cougars had been unbeaten for three years running until meeting up with the Hawks.

The players for the Hawks are Thomas Ammirati, Robert Belkin, Henry Cabanilla, Michael Callahan, Thomas Celenza, Erik Cheshire, Peter Cohen, Dallas Creamer, Connor Fesolowich, Will Fitzgerald, John Gallagher, Justin Henry, Curtis Jenkins, Thomas Kennedy, Joseph Lee, Samuell Maybury, Andrew Oppedisano, Christopher Oppedisano, Kevin Petit-Frere, Vincent Quinn, Alex Schelhorn, Dylan Smith, Ryan Stryska, Kevin Vandemark and Timothy Zehentner.
