Brochure on TOB Animal Shelter Available

If you've been thinking about adding a four-legged friend to your family, the Town of Oyster Bay Animal Shelter has kittens, puppies, dogs and cats all waiting for a home, according to Town Councilman Anthony D. Macagnone.

Residents can obtain an informative brochure entitled Town of Oyster Bay Animal Shelter, which provides an overview of the shelter, a schedule of adoption fees, New York State licensing fees for dogs and fees for redeeming lost dogs and cats. It is a good reference tool for anyone considering adopting from the Town's Animal Shelter.

Any resident or organization interested in obtaining a free brochure can pick one up at Town Halls North (Oyster Bay) and South (Massapequa), the Department of Public Works (Syosset) and at major park facilities, or write to the Town of Oyster Bay Public Information Office, Town Hall East, 54 Audrey Ave, Oyster Bay, N.Y. 11771 or call 624-6380.

The Councilman added that the Animal Shelter, which is located at 150 Miller Place, Syosset, is open Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 4p.m. and reached at 677-5784. He added that to see photos of some of the animals available for adoption, visit the Town's Web site, www.oysterbaytown.com.
