St. Paul's presents free program on Christianity

A meal and video will provide an introduction to the Alpha program at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 147 Park Ave., Amityville, Mon. March 10, 7 p.m.

The Alpha program,. which originated in the Church of England, is a video-based introduction to the Christian faith that has become popular throughout the world. The ten-week program will meet on Mondays beginning April 7. The introductory session on March 10 will include the first Alpha video, Christianity: Boring, Untrue, Irrelevant? The program is appropriate for those who want a basic introduction to the Christian faith, and for those who wish to refresh and renew their faith.
