St. David's Lutheran Church's Men's Club holds dinner meeting

St. David's Lutheran Church's Men's Club held its November meeting at the Corner Galley in Massapequa, Tuesday, Nov. to celebrate Thanksgiving. The guest speaker was St. David's Pastor David J. Meyers who spoke on the need to help families that may have come on hard times and need food and household supplies. He praised St. David's cooking group known as the Soup Spoilers for their work preparing soup twice a month for the Interfaith Nutrition Network (INN) located in the Freeport Church of God Community Center in Freeport. Approximately 225 people come each day to have a hot lunch. There is always a need for volunteers at the INN. If you can help, call the INN at 516- 223-7648 and ask for Paul.
