Amityville Public Library to hold public information meeting March 27 The Amityville Public Library will be holding a public information meeting Thurs., March 27, 7:30 p.m. to review the Library's proposed budget. All District residents are invited to attend. Voter registration will be held Thurs., March 27, 3 to 7 p.m. to vote in the upcoming budget vote and trustee election, a person must be 18 years of age, a citizen of the United States, have resided in the School District for at least 30 days and be a registered voter in the School District. A person need register only if he, or she, has not voted in any political, school or library election in the past four years.
The Amityville Public Library's 2008/2009 proposed budget vote and trustee election will take place on Thurs., April 3, noon to 9 p.m.
