      Longtime Copiague resident Irene Louise Davis, a past president of the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post #1015 in Copiague, died March 4, 2008. She was 82. Born in Brooklyn, she moved to Copiague in 1950 and lived in the same home on North Emerson Avenue for 58 years.
