Registration for kids science camp now underway

Registration is now underway for a week-long science camp for Town of Oyster Bay youngsters in kindergarten through sixth grade, according to Town Supervisor John Venditto.

The program, now its second year with the Town of Oyster Bay, is administered by Mad Science Long Island and will be held this summer at Ellsworth W. Allen Park in Farmingdale and Haypath Park in Old Bethpage.

"This outstanding offering provides quality science enrichment for young students and gets them excited about science," Supervisor Venditto said. "Both educational and entertaining, Mad Sciences' highlytrained professional instructors spark imaginative learning and make the discipline of science interactional and enjoyable." The Mad Science Education Program will be offered at the following times and facilities: July 7 to 11 at Ellsworth W. Allen Town Park in Farmingdale, July 14 to 18 at Ellsworth W. Allen Town Park in Farmingdale, July 21 to 25 at Haypath Community Park in Old Bethpage, July 28 through August 1 at Haypath Community Park in Old Bethpage and August 4 to 8 at Ellsworth W. Allen Town Park in Farmingdale.
