On Wed., April 23, a bus trip will be offered to Goodspeed Opera House in East Haddam, Connecticut to see Happy Days and enjoy lunch at the adjacent Gelston House. On Tues., May 27 a trip to the Culinary Institute and Vanderbilt Mansion will be held. Then on Mon., June 16, a trip to West Point Military Academy followed by a cruise down the Hudson. Registration is underway for all trips. Note that registration for the West Point trip begins Tues., April 15. •In the Gallery for the month of April is Edgar Carlson art by David Hartrick. •The movie Dan in Real Life will be shown Thurs., April 10 7:30 p.m. and Fri., April 11, 1:30 p.m. Doors open one half hour in advance. •A slide show and musical tribute to Irving Berlin will be offered Sun., April 13, 2 p.m. by Lisa Winters. •In celebration of Long Island Reads, pilot Carol Froehlig will present the book Time is Golden, Tues., April 14, 7:30 p.m. *On Tues., April 15, 1 p.m. Irene Marchese will offer a glass painting workshop. May 13, 8:15 a.m. The tour will be guided by a native of Staten Island. The trip will include stops at The Grotto of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, the Chinese Scholar Garden, historic Richmond Town for lunch and the Jacques Marchais Museum of Tibetan Art. The cost is $72 per person.
