St. William kids go to Washington D.C.
St. William's parish and school was well represented at the annual March for Life on Jan. 22. The group gathered at 5:30 am for mass with Fr. Eric Fasano and then boarded a bus for the journey to our nation's capital. The March for Life takes place every year to commemorate the Jan. 22, 1973 Supreme Court Roe v. Wade decision which legalized abortion in the United States. The eighth graders that attended the March for Life learned two valuable lessons. As Catholics they had the opportunity to defend the unborn and as Americans they had the opportunity to peacefully protest and have their voices heard.
