A Poetry Workshop at Amityville's Circle Gallery

Accomplished poet Jessica Fiorini is offering an educational workshop devoted to poetic expression at 10:30 a.m., Sat., April 26, at the Circle Gallery, 186 Broadway, Amityville. Surrounded by the works of local artists, Fiorini will present the case that no art form stands alone. Participants will explore just how poetry and visual arts interact through inspiration, dialogue and even experimentation. No prior publishing experience is necessary, but pen, paper and a love for expressing yourself are a must.

The program, sponsored by the Amityville Artists Circle (AAC), is also a fundraiser. The fee, which will be collected at the door, is $5 for AAC members and students and $10 for non-members. If further information is needed, contact Linda at 516-322-0809. For more on AAC programs and events, visit amityvilleartistscircle. org.
