Edward Jayson, engineer from Fairfield Republic

Longtime South Farmingdale resident and retired engineer, Edward Jayson, died March 15, 2008 after battling cancer. He was 75 years old and will be remembered for his zest for life, according to his family.

Born in Newark, New Jersey he lived in South Farmingdale for more than 35 years and was a retired engineer from Fairchild Republic.

Mr. Jayson leaves behind his wife, Agnes; his sister, Flora, and his nieces and nephews: David, Rhonda and Sharon.

The family sat Shiva on March 18 and 19, 2008.
