Farmingdale school district held annual blood drive

The Farmingdale School District recently had its annual blood drive. Students from the Albany Avenue student council wrote letters to local politicians to invite them to donate blood. Councilwoman Walker and Councilman Muscarella from the Town of Oyster Bay took the students up on their offer. The council members visited the school to donate blood. In addition, the council members spoke to the students on the importance of donating blood and how many lives it can save.
