Senior Call-In Program scheduled to begin in May

Mayor James Altadonna recently announced the creation of a Senior Call-In Program under the Village's Senior Citizen Program. This program, scheduled to start in May 2008 and coincide with senior Citizens Month, will be available to all senior residents in Massapequa Park. The program is designed to answer any questions a senior citizen may have and/or direct them to a person(s) that can assist them. It would also act as contact point for seniors living alone who may need assistance in a non-emergency situation.

Senior residents may call the Senior Center any morning from 9 a.m. to noon and speak to Roseann Vainder at 799-0948.
