Maureen Dillon: longtime Massapequa High School employee

Longtime Massapequa Park resident and mother of six, Maureen Dillon, died April 4, 208. She was 72.

Born in Brooklyn, she lived in Massapequa Park for 51 years and cared for her family and home. For the last 25 years, she was a hall monitor at Massapequa High School.

Mrs. Dillon leaves behind her husband of 51 years, John J.; her children: Claire O'Neill and her husband Michael, John and his wife Barbara, Debra Bregenzer and her husband Charles, Steven and his wife Gail and Daniel; her grandchildren: Cheryl, Nicholas, Marina, Lisa, Heather, Noah and Kelly; and her sister: Barbara Muckian. She was predeacsed by her son, Michael and her grandson, Curtis.

She reposed at the Massapequa Funeral Home in Massapequa Park on April 7, 2008. A Religious Service was held on April 8, 2008 at the funeral home followed by interment in Calverton National Cemetery in Calverton.
