Early sale of Beach stickers set for May 10

For Oyster Bay Town resident beach devotees who want to purchase seasonal beach stickers early and avoid the rush, the Town's Parks Department will be selling stickers on Saturday, May 10, according to Town Councilman Chris J. Coschignano.

On Sat., May 10, beach stickers will be for sale at Tobay Beach, John J. Burns Town Park (Massapequa) and Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Park and Beach (Oyster Bay)."

Beach stickers, at $40 for the entire season, will be for sale at the abovelisted locations from 9 to 11 a.m. . and 1 to 2:30 p.m.

In order to purchase a beach sticker, they must bring along their driver's license and their vehicle registration.

Tobay, Centre Island, Philip B. Healey at Florence Avenue and Theodore Roosevelt Beaches will be open for weekends only beginning Sat., May 24. All beaches will be open seven days a week from Sat., June 14, through Monday, September 1 (Labor Day).
