Massapequa resident Jack Schultheis celebrates 100th birthday

 
Longtime Massapequa resident Jack Schultheis celebrated his 100th birthday on April 14, 2008. He wasborn April 14, 1908 in Marburg Germany, came to the United States in 1924and settled in Ridgewood, Queens. Schultheis married Carol Wal- ters in 1940, now deceased. They moved to Massapequa in 1950. Schultheis worked for E.B. Stimpson, first in Brooklyn and then in Bayport for 50 years. In October 2007 he moved to Cooperstown, New York to live with his niece Maryann Palmatier. He enjoys fishing and reminiscing about his youth. He celebrated his 100th birthday with family and friends at the home of his niece.
