BAC Pow Wow Aug. 9-10
The Babylon Arts Council and the Town of Babylon are presenting the 28th annual Paumanauke Pow Wow at Tanner Park in Copiague, over­looking the Great South Bay. This ritual gathering offers traditional Na­tive American dancers and drums, audience participation, native food, dance competitions, quality traders and customary crafts. The Pow Wow takes place on Sat., Aug. 9, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and on Sun., Aug. 10, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. rain or shine. Admission is $8 for adults and $4 for children ages five to 12 and $4 for seniors.
