•Senior Connections Information and Referral Service will be at the Central Avenue Library, Mondays and Fridays, 10 a.m. to noon and at the Bar Harbor Library, Monday and Thursdays, 10 a.m. to noon. For information call 798-4607, extension 322.

•The Harbor Lane Library offers programs on an ongoing basis including aerobics and toning classes, Mondays, 7:30 p.m.; Tournament Scrabble, Mondays, 11 a.m..; Let's Talk, a discussion group for seniors, Friday, 1 p.m.; strength training classes for seniors, Monday mornings, 10:30 a.m. and Thursdays, 10:30 a.m; Mah Jongg, Tuesdays, 6:30 p.m.; line dancing, Fridays, 10:30 a.m. and Let's Talk, a discussion group for seniors, Friday, 1 p.m. Contact the library for details.

•The Harbor Lane Library offers space to play inter-generational chess, Fridays, 2 p.m. as of Aug. 1. Registration is requested but not required. Bring your chess set if you have one.

•The Harbor Lane Library will host an outdoor country western concert with Sherry Palencia and her country western line dancers, Thurs., Aug. 28, 7:30 p.m. in the parking lot. If it rains, the program will be moved into the auditorium.

•Registration is underway for a number of trips On Wed., Sept. 24, 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. a trip to the Lower East Side, Tenement Museum will be offered. The cost is $66 per person. On Fri. Oct. 24, 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. a bus trip to Platzle Brauhaus in Pomona will be offered with a lunch of German specialties. The cost is $68. A bus trip to see the show Jersey Boys will be held Wed., Nov. 19, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. along with lunch at Sangria on 46th Street for a total
