Beth S. Goldberg's award winning art on display
An exhibition is taking place beginning Sept. 14 at the Chase Freedman Gallery in West Hartford, Connecticut. The exhibition features the abstract mixed media paintings of Massapequa resident Beth S. Goldberg. The materials used in Goldberg's work sometimes include collage, acrylic, watercolor, newspaper, yarn, tissue paper, wax, gesso, rice paper, corrugated board, and sandpaper. The paintings will be on display until Oct. 24.
Goldberg is an award winning artist who is also an educator and an art therapist. She is the immediate past president of the New York State Association of the National League of American Pen Women. Her work has been exhibited at numerous museums and galleries including the Salmagundi Club, the National Arts Club, the Heckscher Museum, Lincoln Center, the Nassau County Museum, the 9/11 Exhibition at the Emily Lowe Gallery. Her paintings are included in many corporate as well private collections.
