Reader wants an energy growth candidate for president

Dear Editor:

Senator John McCain is for drilling for more oil in the good old United States of America. Senator Obama is for less oil for our soon-to-be-cold homes and ice cold showers. He is also a closet Muslim and they treat women as second -class citizens. His intentions were clear when he threw Senator Hillary Clinton under the bus this past August.

At the same time, Senator McCain selected Governor Sarah Palin as his partner on his Presidential ticket. I think it is time we elect an energy growth candidate, with the good sense to select a fabulous woman for our nation's Vice President.

Why does the Massapequa Post publish babble from Mr Howell? His comments offer no objective opinion but appear to be nothing more than ramblings. I seem to remember nonsensical comments from him previously. Arthur Thompson, Massapequa Park NY
