On Wed. Dec. 3 Massapequa Fire Department Chief Thomas Fitzsimmons swore in the first members of the fire department sponsored Explorer Post #630. Several fire department members will be counselors for the Explorer Post. The teenagers will learn about firefighting and first aid.
