The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7763, located at 1012 Park Blvd., Massapequa Park, will be hosting the community rela­tions team from the Veterans Affairs Medi­cal Center, Tues., July 28, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. The team will explain VA medical benefits, eligibility and programs. Theywill enroll new veterans for their ben­efits and update previously enrolled veter­ans including taking pictures and issuing new or replacing old VA identificationcards. Additional eligibility updates will be provided for Purple Heart recipients, Vietnam veterans and Enduring and Iraqi Freedom veterans.
