•Both locations of the Massapequa Public Library will be closed Sundays during the summer as of June 28.

•The Harbor Lane Library offers the following ongoing programs: aerobics and toning classes on Mondays, 7:30 p.m.; tournament Scrabble, Mondays, 11 a.m.; Let's Talk, a discussion group for seniors, Fridays, 1 p.m.; strength training classes, Mondays, 10:30 a.m. and/or Thursday, 10:30 a.m.; Mah Jongg, Tuesdays, 6:30 p.m., line dancing instruction, Fridays, 10:30 a.m. and space to play chess, for all ages and levels, Fridays, 2 p.m.

•The movie Revolutionary Road will be shown at the Central Avenue Library, tonight, Wed., June 24, 7 p.m. Themovie stars Leonardo Dicaprio, Kate Winslet and Kathy Bates and is rated R.

•A trip is offered Tues., July 21 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for a banjo cruise, trip to Old Country Buffet and Tour of Sagtikos Manor, Bay Shore. Thecost is $65 per person. Registration is underway for residents and for non-residents.

•Linda Murtha from The Best Ever Low Carb Cakes will be at the library to present a workshop on healthy meals, Thurs., June 25, 7:30 p.m. Learn how to make easy and delicious meals that are safe for those with diabetes and celiac disease. Registration is underway.

•Terry Parrett willl offer Magic in the Morning, Mon., June 29, 10 a.m. for all ages with a parent. Tickets can be picked up at the library.

•Nick the Balloonatic will be at the Library Mon., June 29, 1 to 2 p.m. for all ages with a parent.

•The Jester Jim Show will be offered Mon., June 29, 7 p.m. for all ages with a parent. Seating is first come, first served.

•Sign up is underway for a trip to The Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum and more, Thurs., July 30, 9:15 a.m. and returning 7 p.m. The trip includes a two-hour narrated boat ride on Circle Line Cruise, a visit to the Intrepid, a box lunch and then a drive down to the South Street Seaport.
