Dear Editor, Just today home mortgages again were raised, further devaluating home values in Massapequa and elsewhere. Homes in Massapequa since the beginning of this economic catastrophe, caused by home foreclosures nationally, have been devaluated from an average as­sessment of $475,000 to approximately to $385,000.
