The Amityville Women’s Club held its January meet ing Tues., Jan. 12 at the Unqua Corinthian Yacht Club. Grace was said by Barbara Lozier and Melanie Doerner led the club in the Pledge of Allegiance. This was a business meeting. Each committee head gave a progress report on events that have taken place thus far.

The community service committee collected articles for personal hygiene that

were donated to St. Martin’s Outreach.

Following the luncheon, Judi Cohen gave an informative speech entitled Seven Habits of Organized People. Everyone came away with at last one tip to help better organize her life or home. Theafternoon ended with the serving of dessert and coffee.
