Members of the 2008-2009 Plainedge High School Ventures Magazine and their faculty advisor, Kim D’Angelo, received second-place honors in the Annual American Scholastic Press Association magazine competition.
This club, which is comprised of 15- 20 students, works throughout the school year collecting literary, art and photographic pieces from their peers. Thesubmissions are anonymously reviewed by the club’s editors and critiqued positively.
“This is the second year in a row that we have received this honor,” stated D’Angelo. “I am extremely proud of what the students have accomplished and the wide variety of interest that is shown throughout the year.”
