Army Reserve Spec. John M. James has been mobilized and activated at Fort Dix, New Jersey in preparation for deployment to serve in support of either Operations Iraqi Freedom or Enduring Freedom. The soldier is a member of the 304th Transportation Company, based in Springfield, Mass. James is the son of Matthew and Mary James of Massapequa and a 1986 graduate of Massapequa High School.
