Drug Free Massapequa holds open house
Assemblyman Joseph Saladino recently attended Drug Free Massapequa’s open house event designed to promote a drugfree environment for the safety and health of the children and residents of Massapequa and surrounding communities.
Assemblyman Saladino was also joined by Town of Oyster Bay Councilman Joseph Pinto, as well as Drug Free Massapequa Co- Founders Victoria Honohan and Janice Talento, other Drug Free Massapequa board members, members of the Nassau County Police Department, and other business and community leaders.
Late last year, Assemblyman Saladino helped with Drug Free Massapequa’s Drug Awareness Walk and anti-drug rally that were attended by many members of the community.
Theopen house provided information on the newly-formed group and encouraged participation and sponsorship from all in the community. This cause has received support from the Town of Oyster Bay, the Massapequa School District, Nassau County, Assemblyman Saladino and Senator Charles Fuschillo.
