Recently, Boy Scouts from St. William the Abbot’s Troop 690 did their part to make the Seaford/ Massapequa commu- nity a little nicer. They do many volunteer projects each year but especially enjoy ones where they get some fresh air. This past fall was no exception as the boys spent a Saturday afternoon cleaning up litter and debris from the grounds of the Tackapausha Museum and Preserve, its adjoining lake on Merrick Road and its Massapequa boundary on Riverside Avenue. Work was organized and supervised by Troop Leader Stacey Griffith.
