Lutheran golf outing and dinner takes place August 9

The St. David’s Lutheran Church’s preschool teachers, office personnel, friends and parents of students will play in the annual golf outing and dinner on Aug. 9. Thisyear’s fundraising outing will be played a the North Shore Tow­ers

Country Club in Floral Park. Theannual golf outing is being sponsoring by the Lutheran Schools Association (LSA).

According to Linda Mitchell, execu­tive director of LSA, the outing is open to all friends of the Lutheran Schools. LSA member schools serve children from preschool through high school in the New York Metropolitan area and Long Island. The day’s activities include check in at 10:30 a.m. followed by a putting con­test and a noon shotgun start. During the 5 p.m. dinner, Chris Jones of the Center for Wealth Preservation will be honored for his leadership and support of Lutheran Schools. St. David’s Lu­theran
