The Amityville Woman’s Club recently awarded high school seniors Yonnique Wilson and Ashley Moreno the Naomi Griffith Scholarship Award. The award was established many years ago to foster and encourage further education for a graduating young woman. This year’s scholarship committee consisted of Karen Colfer, Mary Evens, Susan Johnson, Pauline Koller and Chair Dorothy Garvin.
