Temple Sinai of Massapequa and Amityville once again par­ticipated in the Salute to Israel Parade. Many of Temple Sinai’s congregants and their Rabbi Janise Poticha marched up Fifth Avenue in Manhattan among 24 floats, 17 bands, countless dignitaries and elected officials before a crowd of almost one million spectators.
