Police find remains at Gilgo Beach

INVESTIGATION CONTINUING

Posted Tues., Dec. 14- Suffolk Police report the discovery of the remains of three additional unidentified persons at Oak Beach, near the area where the skeletal remains of another unidentified person were found Saturday, Dec. 11. A Canine Section officer and his dog found the remains Dec. 11 when they were conducting a training exercise in an area where a person had been reported missing earlier this year. Police found the remains of the three additional unidentified persons yesterday when they were searching the scene for evidence related to the original incident. The investigation is continuing.
