Patricia Mary R. Coleman dies

SERVICES SATURDAY & SUNDAY AT MASSAPEQUA FUNERAL HOME

Patricia Mary R. Coleman, a 55-year resident of Massapequa Park, died today, March 4, 2011. She was 79 years old.
A former crossing guard and school monitor at Massapequa High School, Mrs. Coleman was also active in many local organizations including the Massapequa Fire Department’s Ladies Auxiliary, and the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians, Div. 15. She was also active in the Democratic Party.
Raised in Rosedale, Queens, she loved reading and the beach. She was described by her family as “a loyal friend and wonderful mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed.”
Mrs. Coleman will reposed at the Massapequa Funeral Home’s South Chapel, Merrick Road, Massapequa Park on Saturday, 7 to 9 p.m., and Sunday, 2-4 p.m. and 7 o 9 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Rose Of Lima R.C. Church, 10 a.m. Burial in St. Charles Cemetery will follow.
