Birch Lane Elementary School students, staff and parents brightened the holidays of less fortunate children by donating 1,600 new toys to the annual toy drive led by John Coyne’s fifth-grade class. The donations were delivered to hospitals across Long Island through the John Theissen Children’s Foundation.
