NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a resolution was
duly adopted by the Board
of Fire Commissioners of
the NORTH MASSAPEQUA FIRE DISTRICT,
Town of Oyster Bay, County of Nassau, State of New
York, on the 5th day of
November, 2012, subject to
permissive referendum as
provided for by the General
Municipal law.
An extract of the resolution
is as follows:
THE NORTH MASSAPEQUA FIRE DISTRICT
SHALL PURCHASE A
DARK FIBER NETWORK/
COMMUNICATIONS UPGRADE FOR THE BUILDINGS AND FACILITIES
MAINTAINED BY THE
DISTRICT AT A COST,
INCLUDING COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH SUCH
TRANSACTION NOT TO
EXCEED FIFTY THOUSAND ($50,000.00) DOLLARS WITH FUNDS
FROM THE BUILDING
AND GROUNDS CAPITAL RESERVE FUND.
This resolution shall not
take effect until thirty (30)
days unless in the meanwhile a permissive referendum as provided for by the
General Municipal Law is
required to be held.
