I don't mind paying honest

I don't mind paying honest wages for a honest days work. The Village of Massapequa Park have done an outstanding job past & present. However, salary increases never end or at least are never on par with the private sector, union or non-union. Also many public employees, not so much locally, but statewide do not perform as exspected from time to time & should be eliminated based on performances not seniority. All the people ask for is that benefit & wages are on par with the private sector, including pay diferential due to storms, hour of day, etc. Benefits should be contributory & also on par with the private sector. Lastly union dues be used for rank in file business & not political slush funds to support candidates that some or many rank in file members don't agree with philosophically or politically.
