NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to the provision of the State of New
York, that a Public Hearing
will be held by the Zoning
Board of Appeals in the Incorporated Village of Massapequa Park on Wednesday June
26, 2013 at 8:00 PM in
the Village Hall, 151Front
Street, Massapequa
Park, New York 11762 for
the following purposes:

Case No. 3840 To consider
the variance application of
The Estate of Vincent Ortolani, Ms. Linda Cignarella,
312 Maryland Avenue,
Massapequa Park, New
York 11762 to maintain a
rear yard deck without the
required rear yard setback.
Such proposal is in violation of Village Code Chapter 345-31 Rear and Side
Yards which states:
Must maintain a fifteen (15)
foot rear yard setback. Existing deck is located ten
(10) feet from rear property
line
Case No. 3841 To consider
the variance application of
Mr. and Mrs. Steven Minero, 211 Lake Shore Blvd.,
Massapequa Park, New
York 11762 to erect a six (6)
foot solid fence within the
front yard in violation of
Village code.
Such proposal is in violation of Village Code Chapter 345-40 (B1) Fences and
Similar Obstructions which
states: On corner plots, the
front side shall be limited
to nonopaque, not solid
fences no higher than 48
inches. The street side (side
yard) shall be entitled to a

six (6) foot opaque (solid)
fence, provided a minimum
thirteen (13) foot setback
from the property line is
maintained. Proposed fence
would be located from the
northwest corner of garage
and go west and stop two
(2) feet from front
west property line and proceed north terminating at
the north side property
line.

the collection of the Village
real estate taxes therein levied. I designate the location
below where I will receive

additional interest payment,
which shall be computed at
the maximum percentage
rate permitted, pursuant to
the Real Property Tax Law,

until said taxes and accrued
interest are paid in full.
