WHEREAS, it is the desire of
the Board of Trustees of the
Amityville Public Library to
hold a Special District Meeting of the Amityville Union
Free School District for the
purpose of voting upon the

Library budget and electing
one (1) Trustee to the Board
of Trustees of the Amityville
Public Library.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, by the Board of
Trustees of the Amityville
Public Library, Town of
Babylon, Suffolk County
and Town of Oyster Bay,
Nassau County, New York,
as follows:
Section 1. That a Special District Meeting of the qualified
voters of the Amityville
Union Free School District

shall be held at the
Amityville Public Library,
corner of John Street and
Oak Street, Amityville, New
York, in said school district
on the 4th day of April, 2017
at 12:00 noon, prevailing
time, upon the Budget of the
Amityville Public Library.
Voting will be by ballot on
voting machines or by paper

later than March 3, 2017.
Forms of petition may be

the school district. The following vacancy is to be filled
for library trustee:

district, must be signed by at
least twenty-five (25) voters
of the district or two percent
(2%) of the voters who voted
