Massapequa Park celebrates the Fourth!

The Fourth of July is traditionally a time for Americans to enjoy local parades, firework shows, and a day at the beach or a barbecue. This year was no different where, in Massapequa Park, where an hour-long parade featuring floats, marchers and smiling public officials who took the opportunity to wave to residents came through the community to Park Boulevard where ceremonies celebrating America’s independence were held.

“If you want to take a look at what small town America should be, come to Massapequa Park, you'll see it,” Pravato said. “This is what America's all about—right here."
