LEGAL NOTICE TO BIDDERS:
The Board of Education of the Amityville Union Free School District, Towns of Babylon and Oyster Bay, Suffolk and Nassau Counties, New York is requesting proposals from qualified architectural firms certified in NYS:
There is no expressed or implied obligation for the Amityville Union Free School District to reimburse responding firms for any expenses incurred in preparing proposals in response to this request.
An appointment and on-site inspection may be scheduled by any firm interested in submitting a proposal at the Business Office, 150 Park Avenue, Amityville, New York to answer questions about the engagement. Any inquiries concerning the request for proposals should be addressed to Olivia Buatsi, Assistant Superintendent for Finance and Operations.
To be considered, an original TWO copies of a proposal must be received by the Assistant Superintendent for Finance and Operations at 150 Park Avenue, Amityville, New York 11701 by 11:00 am on August 12, 2022. The District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals submitted.
The District reserves the right to retain all proposals submitted and to use any ideas in a proposal regardless of whether that proposal is selected. Submission of a proposal indicates acceptance by the firm of the conditions contained in this request for proposals, unless clearly and specifically noted in the proposal submitted and confirmed in the contract between the Amityville Union Free School District and the firm selected.
It is anticipated the selection of a firm will be completed by August 24, 2022. Following notification of the selected firm it is expected a contract will be executed between both parties by September 7, 2022.
